Hello, I have always used a 2-Way radio when on the deer stand to listen and talk to other hunters in the area. My 2-way radio broke so it is time to replace it. Will a CB radio work the same? Meaning if I have a CB radio, can I still talk to my buddy who is on say channel 7 on his regular 2-way radio? Thanks

I bought a new Cobra CB radio and I use it in a urban area. I hear lots of people on it, but I’m not sure if they can hear me. Do I need a amplifier or this SWR Meter (Which I don’t even understand what it does) to extend my range? The radio operates at 4 watts and I have a 31inch cobra antenna rated up to 300 watts. If I do need these items or something else where can I get it? Thanks!

I’m on amazon and I need a communications unit for my farm and radios would be perfect. I’m looking at two products: Midland 1001Z 2-Way CB Radio, and Midland Outfitter Series GXT1050VP4 50-Channel 36-Mile Waterproof 2-Way GMRS Radio. Can you communicate well between these two products. I was wondering because they both say two way.
