Citizens Band (CB) Radio Service is a private two-way voice communication service for use in personal and business activities of the general public. Its communications range is from one to five miles.

License documents are neither needed nor issued and there are no age or citizenship requirements. As long as you use only an unmodified FCC certificated CB unit, you are provided authority to operate a CB unit in places where the FCC regulates radio communications.

or you allways go to a car sterio shop and have one installed propperly, or an CB shop usually found around bigger truck stops. But be prepared to drop som money, you can easely dropp about 400 bucks for a good system (radio, antenna and installation) as a matter of fact this would be your best way,t o get the rf right is tricky if youdon't knowwhat you are dooing, same with ness. filters. and don't forget to learn the lingo, truckers use code for time reasons and so kids like you don't know what they talking about..... or just drive the limit.unless you really drive a lot of interstate miles you are not gonna use it anyway, its rather annoying in the city...

You dont need a web site. Just go buy a CB Radio. Hook it up in your car, drive down the road and listen. That's how I learned. My daddy is a retired trucker. I have been on a CB Radio since I was 6 yrs old. Pay attention to some of what th drivers are saying. Its better to learn hands on than from some web site!! GOOD LUCK!!

ok whats wrong with this is 2 things one cops listen to these too two not all truckers will be nice about reporting speed traps so there not the most reliable way to avoid po po get a scanner 100 at radio shack and hook it up tune it into police and listen away buy a radar detector as well if you plan to speed if you go faster than 10 over it will be obvious to any cop that your speeding
