You must purchase a separate antenna. Radio Shack sells antennas under $30.

no...car type CBs do not come with antennas. The reason for this is that one can purchase different antennas for different applications. Cbs also do not have internal antennas, except for hand held units.

For a vehicle..car OR truck...depends on what you want to do with this antenna and CB. Do you want the CB in there mounted for good? do you want to mount the antenna there for good? There are different types of mounts for CBs and antennas. Permanent and semi-perminant. I have my CB permantly mounted in my truck, and i'm going to use a magnetic-mount antenna so i can take it on and off when i use the CB or not.

There used to be an adaptor box to hook up a CB into your cars existing radio antenna.I used to have one but I don't know if they are still made.Maybe Radio Shack? If not one will probably show up on ebay sooner or later.
