The guy next door has this giant antena in his back yard for his his CB Radio. He uses it alot and I can hear him very well through my computer speakers. It scares my 1 year old and annoys the crap out of me. What can I do?

Unfortunately…there’s not much you can do with computer speakers…they are fairly cheap electronics and they are VERY poorly shielded…..the best thing to stop CB (RF) interference is a high pass filter…unfortunately….these are for TV antennas.
The best bet would be to talk with your neighbor and ask him to ground his antenna (he will know what this means) with the grounding spikes and coils, turn down his modulation (this is the most common cause of interference) and not use an ILLEGAL amplifier on CB. If he is a license Ham operator, he would already know and have done this and unfortunately, Ham operators due have the law behind them with power.

Consider buying a better set of speakers. If all the problem is just your computer speakers, then a set with better filtering will correct the problem. My wife’s computer has the same problem… Mine, with better speakers, does not.
